TIM CONSTANTINE

Based in The Forest of Arden Melbourne, Australia, Tim is an actor, writer, producer, and director. He has a life-long love of the Bard, all things comedy, and Oxford Commas.

As a whining schoolboy, he was bewitched by the theatre and its collaborative nature, and has been acting professionally since childhood. He has trained with NIDA, Beverley Hills Playhouse, and Howard Fine Acting Studio, among many others.

Theatre credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Betrayal, It’s A Wonderful Life, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Temperamentals, Time Stands Still, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The History Boys, The Judas Kiss, Doubt, and Angels in America. He also co-wrote, co-produced, and performed in sold-out comedy shows for Melbourne International Comedy Festival. This led to writing for a comedy pilot for Jason Stephens (“D-Generation”) and Channel 9.

On stage and radio, Tim recently originated the role of Captain Moonlite (bushranger, lay-preacher,  ‘madman’, and LGBT icon) inthe acclaimed Moonlite – a new Australian musical play by Gabriel Bergmoser.

Tim has a number of screen projects awaiting release when all ‘this business’ blows over – look out for him in The Problem Solver, 50 Years Later, Bernie Brown, and the award-winning Grace.

On the telly box, you might have seen him in Underbelly Files, City Homicide, Neighbours, Lowdown,  Rostered On, and lots of commercials. He has one of those faces you’re sure you recognise from somewhere. Apparently…
